4ourth Month Post

The month of April started out with a sleepover! My friend Becca and her daughter Eden came over for a weekend sleepover at our apartment.  We ate some junk food, watched movies, skyped with Alexis (our old roomate from college) went to church sunday, and just hung out and talked. It was a great weekend and I'm so glad they came out here.

Easter weekend; on Saturday we babysat Camden and brought him to our apartment's Easter Egg Hunt. It was complete chaos and there were SO many kiddos there. It was crazy. Saturday night our friend Daryl & Jess had a 30th Birthday party for Daryl ! We had so much fun playing rock band and other games all night! Then on Easter Sunday we went to church and had Easter lunch/dinner at our apartment! Kev made the ham and everyone contributed some food.  ABC, Becca, Todd, and Eden all came over and we had a great time with great food!

The last weekend in April we went to Las Vegas!  It was Kevin's 26th Birthday on Friday and we decided to take a weekend trip to Vegas and we had our friend Derek meet us there. On the 5 hour drive to our Vegas Vacation we stopped at the Hoover Dam. It was gigantic and unbelievable!  Really cool sight to see, especially with the new bridge.  We got to Vegas and stayed at the Flamingo, Friday me and Kevin walked around and then got sushi for lunch.  We gambled a little bit, and Kevin won on his first penny slots! Then we met up with Derek at the hotel and went out on the town. We also met up with my cousin Nick, who also happened to be in town with some of his friends. We all gambled, drank, and had a bunch of fun. The rest of the weekend we ate out including a delicious buffet, saw a cirque du soleil show "Mystere", did a lot of walking, went to Freemont (downtown old Vegas), etc. Kev had a great first time in Vegas, and we all loved it!

I have many more pictures to share with all of you, I will post more on facebook soon! Again, I can't believe it's already May! Happy Cinco De Mayo!
