Half way to 2012

I'm pretty sure I say this just about every month, but I can't believe It's July already! June was one of the quickest months ever!

Dan came to visit this month! We swam, hung out, went out to eat, etc. We were happy that he could come out and visit for a couple weeks!

The big thing we did this month was go on a weekend mini vaca to Williams, Arizona.  It's this SUPER small town right on route 66.  It's really cute and old with tons of cute lil shops and restaurants.  We got there on Friday and went out to eat at this Irish/Mexican restaurant, weird right? It was pretty delish though!


The next day we headed out towards the Grand Canyon. Before traveling all the way there we stopped at the little town of Bedrock! Fun little tourist spot where we took a bunch of pics and walked around and enjoyed the nice weather.

After that we headed to the Grand Canyon ! It was just as awesome as the first time we went.  This time it was a lot nicer though! The last time we went it was November and it was pretty cold. This time the weather was perfect! Took lots of pictures of course, and had a lot of fun. It did actually start getting pretty warm after a lil while and we headed back to the hotel!

That night we went to this cute little diner and had dinner.  Then we saw a gun fight! HaHa. This cute lil show they put on in the town once a week. We went to the hotel pool, and just hung out at the hotel and relaxed.  It was a super fun weekend.

This month we also went to Camden's Cutest Kid Contest.  Turns out CAM WON in his age category. There was probably about 30 kids in his group? He won a photo shoot with a modeling agency, he will be in Arizona Parenting magazine, he won this small dental pack of stuff from a kids dentist, he will be on an Arizona TV show called Sonoran Living, trophies, and i think that was it. It was pretty awesome.

Happy Belated Fathers Day to all the dad's out there! Especially Dad & Richard! :) Love you guys!

Kev left yesterday to go to Illinois for a week, and I leave tomorrow. We are both super excited and can't wait for all the fun things we have planned, and to see all our family and friends! I'm not really looking forward to the humidity but it might be better than the 117 we will probably be seeing today in AZ!
