1st Trip To CALI !

Last weekend Kevin and I made our first trip to San Diego and it was pretty fun! Even though it rained pretty much all weekend, we made the best of it!  We went with ABC and all road-tripped in one car which was pretty squished but super fun.  We shared some laughs, talked and slept of course!

When we got there we waited for our friend Derek to meet at our hotel so we could figure out what we were going to do.  We ended up going to the Birch Aquarium since it was raining.  It was pretty awesome.  We saw tons of crazy fish, eels (yuck!), sharks, etc.

Then by the time we saw everything here and got back to the hotel it had stopped raining for a little bit so we went out to the beach and put our toes in the sand and feet in the ocean. And take a few pics of course! :)

Later that night we went to dinner, went to the hotel to play some cards and drink a little bit, then D and Kev went out to see an 80s cover band at one of the bars down the street from the hotel.  Then Sunday was pretty rainy and yucky out but we still went out to Seaport Village and saw some sights, did a little shopping, and got some food! 

 

Sad for some reason these wont rotate. but i still wanted to add them.  I LOVE this famous picture. so cool that it's a statue now!

All in all it was a great weekend! We already want to start planning to go a 2nd time probably in July when it's nice and warm, and it will be a break from the 120's here in AZ! :)
