SEVIN LUCK: I Feel Like We're in A Movie

This is what I kept saying all weekend when Kev's brother Kenny & his fiance Bernie were visiting. I felt like it was a picture perfect weekend with all kinds of fun stuff.

We started off the weekend by going out to dinner on Friday night to a restaurant that was featured on the show "Diners, Drive Ins, & Drives" one of our favorite shows on food network. It is a German restaurant called Haus Murphy's. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was fun, and it was fun to experience with everyone. There was an accordion player and singer going around singing to tables, mostly Christmas tunes, my favorite. Our waiter was even from Germany!

After dinner we walked around downtown Glendale and looked at all the lights up for Glendale Glitters !

Saturday we started off by going to Ass Kickin Gift Shop. They have a hot sauce plant out here called Ass Kickin, and then they have a bunch of donkeys and a gift shop to buy all kinds of hot sauce and gifts.

After we looked around and bought a couple things we headed out to Scottsdale to do some sight seeing, a little bit of shopping, and just walk around. We saw a singing, guitar playing, cowboy, riding a horse and 2 carriage rides one with a regular sized horse and one with a MINI horse -totally felt like a scene out of a movie! Also, this crazy nice old lady who knew everything there was to know about Scottsdale told us all the good places to go and see...she was definitely a part of the "movie" we were in. All kinds of things!

Then on Sunday we went hiking on the White Tanks and showed Kenny & Bernie the sights from the top! it was super nice out, in the 80s, and so fun! After that we went to show the visitors Westgate and walk around. Westgate was SUPER crowded because there was a Cardinals game, but it was still fun. Ken & Bern got some ice cream and we took some pics in front of the big Christmas tree/fountains, and did some window shopping too!
