SEVIN LUCK: Joy to the World

I started off the Christmas season by going to Zoo Lights at the Phoenix Zoo with my friend Meghan and her son Price. It was really fun, a lil chilly, free (thanks to Jess), and just a great time! We had hot apple cider, chocolate chip cookies, and hot chocolate with marshmallows (Price's favorite)! The lights were beautiful and they had holiday music playing as we walked around.

After zoo lights on Wednesday I ended my week at school with a winter pizza party. This was also my last day at school, I put my 2 weeks in to start working full time with Brian's company.

Then a week later was Christmas Eve and Kevin and I both had off from work. We just did some last minute running around and hung out at the house all day. Then we went to church, which was a really great service, with a surprise guest (the pastor from the church in Haiti that our church helps out)! We came home and ate Portillo's, thanks to Mamacita & Rick who had sent it to all of us! YUMMMMMY! Then Amy read the 2 Christmas books I got Cam ('twas the night before christmas & the first christmas story), we played some games, and then we all went to bed.

Then it was CHRISTMAS MORNING! Camden was so excited and it was such a great morning. He just wanted to open more presents! He was so funny opening the presents pulling off piece by piece and kept telling us "garbage" and handing us his scraps. He also wouldn't get super excited about the present until it was fully opened and then he would GASP and get a huge grin on his face...then ask for the next! haha...after saying thank you to everyone of course! :)

We all got some really great things, and Kevin and I were definitely surprised when Amy told us that some of our presents were outside?!?! When we walked outside and saw that we had both gotten bikes we started screaming like 5 year olds! Awesome Christmas gift! Thanks soooo much to ABC,Mom,Dad,Christy & Rick, we've already rode them of course (75 on Christmas day!).

We were spoiled with all kinds of gifts; cookbook, apron, BEARS clothing, popcorn maker, DVDs, Nerf gun, legos, clothes, gift cards, etc. (to name a few!)

Later after presents, monkey bread, lounging, insta-snow, looking at presents, skyping, and getting ready we went to Jessica's house for Christmas lunch/dinner. It was really nice to see Jess' whole family and eat some good food! When we came back we went over to the neighbors house for a little bit and then came home to finish off the day with some more games. Amy got Scattergories for Christmas from B so we played a couple rounds of that before hitting the hay! :)
