Top Ten of 2013

So I wrote this post back at the beginning of February this year... & for some reason it never published. Weird!

I'm really trying to get better at updating the blog. I promise!  We have just been busy around here lately.  I thought I would do our year in review and do a top ten of twenty thirteen (in no particular order) Enjoy!

  1. Wedding Planning and Going to San Diego. This was such a fun trip and we got we were treated like a King & Queen wherever we went. I loved trying all the cakes, getting our own private dinner at Paradise Point, and spending it all with each other.
  2.  Starting a new job. This was bittersweet because I loved working for Brian's company and I loved working out of Amy & Brian's house and being able to see the boys everyday. I love my new job and working in a little different environment.
  3. Our Wedding.  Really the happiest day of my life. It was nothing short of amazing, and I couldn't have dreamt anything better.
  4. Honeymoon in Jamaica. Our vacation to Jamaica was picturesque everything was beautiful.  It was such a fun adventure with the love of my life.
  5. Buying our First House.  I can't believe we are actually homeowners I feel so grown up.  We love our house, and making it perfect for us. I love buying new decor, moving things around, putting up pictures and making it our Home.
  6. Visits.  We had many visitors this past year.  A couple of Kevin's closest friends came out for a bachelor party.  One of my best friends Stephie and her now husband came out for the first time.  We had my Mom and Dan come out for Christams, and Kevin's parents come out right after Christmas.
  7. Weddings.  Kevin's sister Amanda and Ben got married. My friend Stephanie and Steve got married. & Kev's friend Steven & Adrian got married. It was the year of weddings!  All of them were very special and beautiful.
  8. Suns Season Tickets.  On a whim Kevin & I decided to buy season tickets to the Phoenix Suns, because his work was offering up an amazing deal that we couldn't pass up.   I was never a huge fan of basketball like Kevin, but I have really grown to love it, and I look forward to driving to the city a couple times a month to watch a game with my hubby.
  9. Marshall.  We decided to start growing our family and adopted a rescue kitten and named him Marshall. Suprisingly him and Maddux get along great. He's such a loving ball of fur, and we love him very much.
  10. College. I decided to go back to school to become a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. Since I have my bachelors already, I have to get a certificate and then I can start working in the field.  After that I will decide if I want to go back for my masters.  I'm in three classes right now, and it looks like I should be done next spring or the following fall.
